Ö±²¥Ë«·É Christmas Closure Details

Posted on 5th December 2022

.

The last day of term is Friday, 16th December.

This is the major controlled assessment day for our Criminology students.  This is a computer-based exam board controlled assessment which contributes to 50% of their final mark and these assessments will be taking place in Ö±²¥Ë«·É as planned.

All other lessons tomorrow will be entirely remote and students will access them via Teams - timetables have been compressed to enable a 1pm finish (see below).

Due to the rail strikes, lessons had already been planned to be available remotely, but we now ask students only to travel to the Ö±²¥Ë«·É if they are directly involved in the first-year Criminology assessment due to the issues with our temporary generators.

Ö±²¥Ë«·É services such as The Library, The Bridge Café and Student Services will be running a reduced service until 1pm for those required to attend Ö±²¥Ë«·É.

The day is compressed as follows to enable a 1pm finish:

9.00 am - 9.45 am BLOCK D

9.50 am - 10.30 am BLOCK B

11.30 am - 12.15 pm BLOCK E

12.20 pm - 1.00 pm BLOCK C

1.00 pm - COLLEGE CLOSURE

All Ö±²¥Ë«·É services are closed from Friday 16th December through to re-opening on Tuesday 3rd January.
